It works fine with the desktop version of Raspbain Stretch, but when I issue the command to activate the display, my HDMI switches to a mode that my monitor ( s) can support. I don't support. Therefore, at the time of writing this article, I could not work with HDMI and LCD at the same time. Just a little note from the lcd show folder, you can run ./lcd-hdmi to just switch back to hdmi. Secondly. for some reason this doesn't work properly with stretch lite (terminal only). I follow the instructions and see the Pi boot up, but when I get the login prompt I can't clear the screen. the boot text is still there. If I press enter a few times, the tooltip appears and then disappears. I really wish this thing would work in this mode as I don't need a GUI for a lot of my applications.
