Perfect! Happy with my first LCD purchase for my Pi

PI 3+ is perfect in this LCD case. I was also able to add a heatsink and fan to this case! I didn't have a hard time putting it all together. On the plus side, this case also comes with a top bezel cover just in case I don't want to use the LCD. The quick start guide was easy to understand and with a few commands I installed and started the display drivers. here is the first photo

Octoprint users read this. Good screen, bad drivers

This is a very good screen but the drivers in the product list and manual do not match well with the Octoprint image provided by Lulzbot. If you customize TouchUI or Octoprint TFT screen, please use the drivers provided by Elecrow, search Google for "elecrow 3.5 inch 480x320 tft wiki”. Revain doesn't allow me to put a direct link in the review, the page should look like the picture with this review (drive installation is at the bottom of the page). These drivers work great with this display and

Works fine after some modifications!

The case itself is not particularly important. My Pi comes in its own very nice case, although that's just in case I don't want to use it with a touchscreen, e.g. B. if I use it as a media center. I wish the gold colored heat spreader was a bit shorter as it interferes with my normal case and adds unnecessary stress to my Pi's board. Installing on the board itself isn't difficult, but installing and using the firmware was difficult for me. since I'm new to Linux. The screen and touch controls…

Haven't been able to boot Raspbian yet but wanted to issue a warning

If you're looking for a 3.5 inch screen that's easy to fit, this is a great little kit. However, the connector relies on about 1/2-2/3 of the Pi 3 B+'s GPIO pins, it doesn't use a dedicated Display Flex slot. If you're working on a project that requires a full set of GPIO pins, you must I look elsewhere. I can start development while looking for another display that suits my needs, but I have to say I'm a little frustrated.

Works well Needs some work - doesn't work in Stretch Lite

It works fine with the desktop version of Raspbain Stretch, but when I issue the command to activate the display, my HDMI switches to a mode that my monitor ( s) can support. I don't support. Therefore, at the time of writing this article, I could not work with HDMI and LCD at the same time. Just a little note from the lcd show folder, you can run ./lcd-hdmi to just switch back to hdmi. Secondly. for some reason this doesn't work properly with stretch lite (terminal only). I follow the…

Solid body, good screen

I have this to use with a Raspberry Pi 3b+ and it works great. All ports are easily accessible, only the micro SD slot is a bit cramped, but I still don't change it often. The screen looks pretty good, although the instructions for installing the screen weren't the best. , or where to place the racks and plastic spacer. The screen itself is pretty good although you have to be aware that you are buying a TFT display so the viewing angles aren't the greatest but the TFT panel is advertised…

Great value but you can add a fan if it doesn't come with a

Pros:+ great display, great price for $$+ installed directly on my Pi 3Cons+, they come in different versions! For example, mine came without a fan even though there is a 2-pin fan header on the screen. You can order a "JST-PH 2.0" connector if you need it to install your own fan + the polarity (red/black) on the fan connector is reversed + the supplied instructions do not match the display sent - z will need a different one Driver version (LCD35-show instead of MHS35-show). Your download will…
