I bought these to haul two mountain bikes every weekend and I'm surprised at how well they've held up. There's nothing worse than transporting your bike in the rain and having your butt all wet when you arrive. I think these covers have done 2000 miles this summer and they have not leaked, come off or been lost. We also left them on the seats overnight in the rain and the next morning the seats were dry. I would buy them again. The tip is well made and holds tight. I was skeptical about the quality but after a ton of freeway miles and bad weather I'll be sharing these with other friends who carry bikes on their suitcases all the time. It's worth it.
