This is a good duct flange. Simple and great for what it is. BUT. I tried using one to vent hot air on a diesel heater in my van. He shrank, twisted, twisted and basically acted like a psychotherapist. My bad but. I never checked if it is rated for hot air. Note: My diesel heater blows out very hot air. So be aware if you use it for hot air or install it in the engine compartment it may fail.
