This is the quietest grinder I have ever used at this price point. With this machine you can also achieve very fine grinds. The only problem is the detachable bowl that you put the beans in. Unfortunately, water penetrates into the component (see photo). The manufacturer knows this, because the operating instructions say that if water gets in, simply turn it upside down and let it dry. This solution is suitable if you do not use the coffee grinder for the rest of the day. This water doesn't drain right away, it basically needs to sit upside down for a few hours if not all night. Don't wash it if you haven't finished with it during the day, or some of that moisture will end up on the coffee grounds. Careless design flaw for sure. Update: Newer photos have been released showing the still trapped water. This is upside down after 2 days of drying (both ways). What happens to standing water? Not cool.
