The stand is very sturdy although there is a bit of a wobble with a heavy monitor on it. The selling point for this stand was that since there is a center support, the top of the stand will not cave in the middle. This is achieved, but does result in that bit of wobble since there is a single point of support. I turned the stand around so the support bar on the stand lines up better with the bar on the stand of my monitor and that helped make it better balanced. I definitely would buy this stand again unless it was for a space where rock solid stability was needed. It was easy to assemble and it is nice that it leaves open space under the stand.
