Please don't take chances! My healthy 8 year old cat developed oral cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) which progressed rapidly and I had to euthanize her just 4 weeks after symptoms started. Cats wearing flea collars are at least five times more likely to get this deadly and horrible cancer. I didn't know until it was too late. I sincerely believe that flea collar was the cause of my girl's cancer. Cats shouldn't be into these things - with the amount of licking they do, they're exposed to toxic pesticides at an unsafe level. She could not take care of them, eat or drink because the swelling under her tongue caused her great pain. I wish I could go back and never order this collar again. Maybe I still have my sweet girl.
