Easy to use. I thought my laptop doesn't support gigabit bandwidth, the problem turned out to be that the cable was CAT 5 and not CAT 6. Yes, the adapter made the connection a little faster with the wrong network cable. CAT 5 does NOT support high speed transmission. I switched to a high-speed CAT-6 cable and actually got BETTER throughput WITHOUT an adapter. This product is best suited for users who do not have network input on their laptop and need to use USB. Will come back because I don't need this adapter, I just need a better cable. I will buy a CAT 7 cable for this portable station. I would post photos of the test results but won't give them to you.
