I don't know how real photographers appreciate it but for clumsy shooters like me it's perfect. I spoiled the pictures with my unsteady hand and general ineptitude. However, it is almost impossible for me to get a bad picture with this one. Antistress really works. The wide angle is the widest I've seen in point and shoot mode. What I really like is the panorama function. No merging of individual frames. Just pan slowly. Wonderful! I bought a Cybershot about 18 months ago and while it was good it didn't have enough wide angle to capture tall buildings while we were in London. And there was no panorama. We are traveling again and I didn't bring my camera thinking I would only use the iPhone camera. It didn't work so I checked out this camera and loved it. My only comment, and this applies to all digital and cell phone cameras, is that without a dedicated viewfinder you can't see what you're photographing. in the bright light. Getting rid of Seeker was a bad move.
