JR JUN RONG 40X Jewelery Loupe Loupe with full metal illumination comes in a plastic case. The case contains a magnifying glass and a tool for removing the battery cover. If it weren't for the battery eject tool, I'd happily throw the case away. For a $11.66 magnifier, the quality is okay. The lens is (as expected) only sharp in the center. The LEDs are placed so close to the lens that sometimes the light is blocked because you have to get the 40x magnifier very close to the subject. The LEDs have white light and visible ultraviolet light (to detect counterfeit banknotes). I'm not exactly sure how this part works. My main complaint is that the magnifying glass lid is "soft" and loose. When using a handheld magnifier, the cap must be firmly attached to the lens as it actually acts as a handle. Overall, this is a good article for beginners or those on a budget.
