This is one of the most affordable number plate mounting options for a BMW towbar and with good reason. The mount works, but the design fails over time. First off, the mount comes in four pieces and requires 9 screws. So if you're looking for something that can be taken on and off frequently, this isn't it. The pivoting part that allows you to move and position the plate will fail over time as the single screw holding it in place keeps scratching the surface leaving you with a hole bigger than the screw. With the PDC, you can avoid moving the sensor by positioning it at an angle so that it is as close as possible to the bumper.
