We bought the UPGROW USB C Hub because the MacBook Air doesn't have the right ports and it does the job perfectly. Connecting an external display to the HDMI port was a breeze and so far everything is going smoothly. The two connectors attached to the hub are a little difficult to plug in at first and require a firm push until there is no space between the laptop and the hub. Once that's done, it becomes part of the computer and there's no messy cable in between, which is a huge plus when traveling or using a laptop on a small surface. I would highly recommend this hub as a stable, dependable companion for the latest MacBook Air (bought 2020).
