When you think your engine isn't running. Think again, it could be a trigger switch

When I checked pre-purchase drill presses, I saw that both 20V DC and 120V AC burned their motors in the past, but I went ahead and bought the matrix. I loved my Matrix the first year and would have given 5 stars like so many others on this list. I thought it would be a cool idea to use one handle for many tools. NOT RIGHT. If the motor dies, you've just wasted your money and need to buy a new $64 crank or Matrix drill bit, or you've spent all your money on adapters. The same applies to the AC model. Well, my device stopped completely in the middle of a project. The lamp worked but the motor didn't. Of course, I thought that either the engine burned out, or there was an overheating circuit, due to which the device stopped working. I changed the batteries. well. I waited 2 hours when the engine overheats. Yes I know you get a 2 year guarantee. Try to collect and tell your experiences. I decided to take a leap of faith. I bought a trigger switch for $2.33 + 0.7-24 volts DC at 16 amps for a cordless drill. Of course on Revain. I paid over $2.33 because I didn't want to wait 2-4 weeks for delivery from China. Long story short, the motor was fine and the problem was a $2-3 derailleur that Black and Decker couldn't repair or replace. they sell or replace the entire pen for only $64 when ordered directly from B&D. You need to change 2 components in the matrix for the switch to fit and work. 1. Plastic slide switch (from right to left in front of the trigger switch), to move forward or backward, you need to do less. I used a grinder. 2. The cutout on the outside of the trigger drill needs to be enlarged and cut into a square. It's usually round. you will understand Turn the drill upside down and look at the trace for the top of the trigger switch. I used a pocket knife to increase the size of the trigger switch compartment. Please see burned motors in all matrix drills. Also see which parts can be replaced with B&D. There are only 3 parts in the matrix drill.
