I recently traded in my old Dodge for a 2003 Silverado 2500HD and kept my Tekonsha Primus brake controls to fit a new truck. I bought this wiring harness and it was easy to install. Just plug it into the brake controller and the other end into the factory outlet on the truck under the dash. If you are towing an RV or other trailer with a battery and want it to charge when it is plugged into the truck, you will need to go into the underhood fuse box, remove the fuse plug from the "bolt number 1” position and install it a 30A FMX fuse for supplying power to the trailer factory plug.
