Clean sound from a small speaker set

I bought this pair of speakers for my garage carpentry shop and was a bit apprehensive when I opened the box to find the speakers were smaller than I expected. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the clear sound and the sufficient loudspeaker volume in my small shop. I wasn't expecting to get a "soundstage" from these little speakers, but here it is: the vocalist is in the center, and the left and right instruments are where they should be. Note that these speakers require a certain "break-in" period. When I first turned on the speakers, the mids sounded flat and a bit grainy, and the bass wasn't tight at all. However, after about 1 hour of music playback, the mids improved significantly (much cleaner) and the bass was noticeably tighter. I found that placing the speakers 6 to 10 inches from the back wall was best for my ears. Adjustment knobs on the back for "treble" and "bass" are enough to find the optimal listening range. no Problem with bluetooth signal (drop didn't move over my store). I had the ability to control the speakers from home, so the Bluetooth range seems pretty good. The only minor downside to this product is the look of the metal frame, but that's just mine. Overall I think these speakers far outweigh their weight.
