I bought a pair of these motors to replace two in a pool cleaner/pump control box that had the gears disassembled - probably due to age, weathering and Lack of grease on the main axis of the timer wheel. I installed both motors - and lubricated the hard axles. There are no installation problems. After 24 hours, some clocks were about an hour behind, while others were about correct. Puzzled, I exchanged them for two timers, and after another 24 hours, the other timer was about 1 hour behind. A few weeks later, the good guy was about the right time and the stupid guy was way off. The original timer motors were 220v WG1573 units while the newer motors are 110v motors but that shouldn't matter as I hooked up the replacement to a 110v power supply used for a, but not working well for both. The rotation speed is controlled by 60Hz AC, so there is no need to run 5% faster. I have ordered another one from another supplier and will see what happens.
