Great product! After destroying a small pot because he inexplicably insisted on heating milk, which then stuck to the inside of the pot, the instructions that came with the pot said not to use harsh detergents to clean it. So I didn't, and the rest survived. Decided to do better. I could have just bought an enamel pan, but that seemed like a cowardly solution. Time for an online search! I stumbled across this product, read the reviews and decided to buy a new pot and some of those dish sponges. It was about three months ago. GOOD>>>All positive answers were correct. I warm the milk, pour it into a cup of coffee, rinse the pan, wet and wring out the pad, and with a slight effort wipe off the milk residue. The inside of the pot shines and I'm beaming. Success! It's also great for cooking common dishes in other pots and pans. I focused on removing milk residue as that was the motivation for purchasing these pads. "Pillow" is a bit of a misnomer, but I can understand why the manufacturer used it based on its intended purpose. No problem. I gave this product 5 stars for everything including durability as I can't see any signs of wear on the pad I use. It came in a pack of six and at this rate it might very well outlive me. A. And it's also an attractive item that doesn't have the messy sponges that some sponges have. The manufacturer kindly shared that each two-pack contains a silver pad and a gold pad. This allows me to assign one color to food contact items and another for general cleaning. I've wanted to place sponges here for a long time. It shows the manufacturer's excellent attention to detail and I believe that this trait bodes well for the longevity of this product. I highly recommend it. The price is quite reasonable, it is a pleasure to use.
