Be careful when using as decoration
I bought gears for my steampunk look. There were many shows and they are really cute. I would use them for crafting but I wouldn't use them for decoration as they are different metals and you don't know which metals. Without thinking about the metal allergy, I attached them to my face with eyelash glue. The metal left me with a severe rash the next day. So I would be wary of using them as jewelry especially if you have sensitive skin. But it's great for crafting.
