The kit covers and protects rocker panels that would otherwise expose bare paint and for a Jeep used where it is intended, this paint will eventually wear off and become unsightly due to trunk movement. The rocker panels look great and match the factory footpegs. Just make sure you follow the instructions exactly, install each sill with the appropriate left or right side (they are different) and line up the index marks with the body seam as indicated. Most importantly, make sure the sill is flush against the vertical edge of the sill before you push it down - once it's stuck, you won't be able to remove and adjust it. Maybe that's something no one but you will notice, but their absence and bare painted thresholds caught my eye.
