Review on 🔧 Etekcity A1000 Professional Digital Multimeter - TRMS 6000 Counts, Auto/Manual Ranging, Measure Voltage, Current, Resistance, Frequency, Continuity, Capacitance, Diode Test, Temperature by Alex Smith

Again, I've used other multimeters before, but this Etekcity has quickly become one of my favorites. The large LCD display immediately catches the eye. The numbers were large, sharp and had good contrast. Even in direct sunlight, I didn't have to turn on the backlight to read the display. All keys were clearly arranged. The turntable has not jammed. The digital readings seemed stable and accurate; little to no turnover. The only thing that bothered me was the constant voltage function and the range button. For some reason when measuring solar PV voltages the range had to be > 0; If it's set to 0.0 or less, I get an error. At first I thought that the photovoltaic panels were not working, which is impossible in direct sunlight. It was only after changing the range to >0.0 that I got the readings. Strange. In any case, I would highly recommend this gauge for the price and ease of use.
