These shorts are lightweight and true to size. However, the depth of the back pocket can allow items to move around a bit more while running. The side pockets are regular pockets, I'm glad they have them. Material and Workmanship: Material is lightweight but not as durable as the Nike and New Balance shorts I have in a similar style. However, the quality of the back pocket zipper is excellent. I like the belt too, it's well made. Recommendation: I would recommend it for general training and running, but not for marathons or activities that might snag the material.
