I bought this to hook up to an old 1972 SEARS 3K generator that I didn't know the performance of. The generator still works but I have tested both units purchased and both work great. The instruction manual wasn't the best, but it was still very easy to interface with the circuitry on the unit. I've only tested one CFL with it and it met specs on the first try without calibration. Really cool meter.
