I have to say I'm impressed with these things! They are very durable and well made. Also, these pre-made ones have what I would call a "sacrificial tip" as opposed to the screw-on ones. This is great because when you're polishing something, the LAST thing you want to do is screw a set screw into your nice shiny object. This prevents you from going down to the propeller! If so, it's clearly your fault. Unlike a "screw," there is an "air gap" between the end of the marker and the screw. Such things last a very long time even if they are polished with water. I have to say I'm impressed by how cool they are. Will be ordering more when this project is complete to replenish stock.
