So I tried Setex grips for Xbox controllers, it was a mess (don't buy them). But I liked the feel and cushioning of the material provided, so I doubled down and spent another $20 on it. Everything went great with no issues the product "made" for the featured controllers (the glue they use leaks around all the cut areas and is slimy, plus it's not made specifically for triggers and bumpers and is too high , causing parts to break quickly ) . It lasted longer than a product 'made' for Xbox controllers, but still broke down fairly 'quickly'. The glue just gives up after about 50-100 hours as you can see in the last photos. It just started curling up and standing up. I think the product is great, but too expensive and fails in a relatively short time. The surface is also worn in several places, which can hardly be seen in the photos. A potential competitor is 3M - Nexcare Absolute 66775 Flexible Waterproof First Aid Tape. It's a little less grippy on first touch, but offers better grip, excellent adhesion, and is a lot cheaper. I would like Setex to redesign this product (maybe thinner and definitely solve the adhesion problem - and lower the price). The grip is great, the feel is very nice, but it's short-lived and too expensive.
