I use this balance for weighing isolates and solvents where a higher level of accuracy is required without spending hundreds of dollars on a lab balance. After using the scale for a few weeks, we found it to be fairly accurate at around 1.1 grams. However, if you're trying to weigh 0.01 and 0.001 points, the scales aren't the most accurate and consistent. Each time we remove and replace a sample, we receive multiple shipments. But overall, for measuring simple grams, this is excellent value for money. The scale itself is well protected by a hard case and integrated handles on the sides. Good thing the kit comes with a test weight to check the calibration. We have a set of calibration weights and we found that a 10g weight is 10, but if we re-weigh the weight it will be 9.95g versus 10 during testing. We lowered the test weight to 1g and found the same result. But that doesn't matter to the average person, as the readings are very close to the reference test weight. We will continue to use the scale for daily activities. We recommend this scale for everyday use. For the price, it's worth it.
