Review on 📶 Verizon Jetpack 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi 4510L 4510L - Compatible with Verizon Wireless for Enhanced Connectivity by Greg Cunningham

There are three traps here. (1) The Verizon Wireless MIFI 4510L WI-FI 4G LTE Portable Hotspot came without a SIM card. (2) The instructions didn't say anything about activation - the shop where I bought the SIM card told me it can be activated via www through my laptop. Not true. It took an hour and a half to activate it by phone. (3) Although this model number is the same as the prepaid (non-contract) version of this MIFI device, Verizon was unable to activate it with the SIM card we purchased from the Verizon store. Customer service claimed that this model is only used with contracts. Big confusion. Lost time. Fortunately, Revain accepts returns. ADDED after device swap iteration: Revain is refunded quickly. Thanks very much! I ordered the same model from Verizon, making sure I chose the prepaid plan model. Called Verizon to activate the SIM card that came with the device. After 4 attempts within 12 hours it was possible to set up a prepaid account online. Still no internet. I called tech support. They advised logging into the MiFi device and doing a "factory reset". The internet is working now. Please. I considered increasing the rating to 3 stars but decided that any device that exists in two forms under the same model number and requires that much effort to work only deserves 2. Could go up to 2.5. The device can work. Verizon's customer service was very patient and helpful, but finding the right procedures was a slow process.
