Review on GreenLife Soft Grip Diamond Ceramic Nonstick Cookware Set, 13-Piece, Turquoise - Healthy Kitchen Pots and Pans by Alec Winsor

I bought these after buying a new gas stove that I needed as the electricity is not as reliable as it should be where I live. So after some searching I came across these which I bought because I have a Green Life frying pan and have enjoyed using it for the past 5 years. It has held up quite well over that time and I'm sure this set will last for many years to come. However, at first glance they seemed a bit thinner than my pan, with a thicker base and handle. But this is a $100 dinnerware set, so I'm willing to forgive such shortcomings. As for the dining experience, it's not bad. I had to get used to cooking with gas again, which wasn't easy for me, but these pans take a lot of time to get used to. I'm so glad to know that the non-stick coating on this set works as I hoped it would and the variety of this set is lovely. I finally have a large lasagna pot and each piece has its own lid, except for the pans. The extra utensils are a nice touch and everything was very easy to clean and always looks nice. I took a little time to write this review because I haven't cooked rice with it before. I make a small batch of rice when I cook it, using just water and a pinch of salt. I'm happy to report that after a reasonable cooking time on my gas stove nothing stuck to the bottom and everything turned out perfect. I'm glad I bought this set and would recommend it to anyone looking for something good and cheap. My only real criticism of this set is the design of the pots which you absolutely can't pour anything out of without spilling. I used to boil milk to make my own coffee in the morning and I can't pour it into my coffee mug without getting dirty. But that's a minor issue, and there are other ways to heat milk for coffee. Yes of course there are better cookware sets out there but this one hit the spot for me, taking a star off only because of the lightness of most pans and the fact that I can't pour any of them out. But this is a set I will definitely buy again! I will update it in 6-12 months to see how they hold up.
