Great product, good value for money

I purchased this Airaid system for my 2010 Toyota FJ Trail Team after carefully researching all the systems available for my car. The Airaid system is by far the best product for the price. This system reminded me a lot of the Kenne Bell compressed air system I had on my 1987 Buick WE4 T-Type. The similarities are the cone-shaped air filter, the sealed airbox to protect against engine overheating, and the very low restriction that keeps the air path to the intake manifold as straight as possible. Compared to the factory setting, it is easy to see how even a small advantage can be drawn from Airaid. The instructions are detailed and clear. Assembly was easy and everything fit together perfectly. Some connections were loose and required a bit of work to fit. The only "problem" after the installation was complete was that there was nowhere to attach the latches that hold the wiring harnesses in place, as there were holes in the factory system for the latches to snap into. It's not a big problem; would just have to change. During test drives, I noticed that the idle was much smoother and the throttle response improved noticeably. I didn't drive long enough to notice if the gas mileage increased. The feeling that the car got a little faster when overtaking and accelerating. Overall my expectations weren't overblown, I thought I would get a significant boost in performance or it would run like a race car now, but there is a noticeable improvement. And how shouldn't that be, if you compare the stock system with Airaid? I am very happy with this system and would recommend this worthy upgrade. 5 Stars.
