As others have pointed out, this is a DVI-D (dual link) cable that supports higher resolutions than the standard DVI single link cable . These cables are well made and as durable as any good cable. The shielding is of high quality, the plugs are tight and don't protrude any more than necessary. The cable also twists, bends, and twists easily, which is often overlooked since most heavily shielded cables are too stiff to manipulate.
