Good cable, color saturation is much better than HDMI

Bought this cable because my new graphics card doesn't have a VGA connection. Once plugged in, I noticed that the color saturation was actually significantly better than my other monitor, which was the exact same model and was only connected via HDMI instead. Is the difference due to the DVI standard and not this particular cable? Probably, of course, but for $9 for such color quality, I'm satisfied. The monitors in the picture are both Acer H6 Series H226HQLbid with the same settings. Left…

Bad cable: green dots.

I have a new graphics card but an older monitor. I bought a 3 foot DVI cable. When I installed it, the display had a significant amount of random green dots scattered across the screen. I borrowed a DVI cable from my son's computer and the problem did not occur. I sent this cable back. This is likely an isolated issue with this particular cable. Other observations: The cable is quite thick and seems durable. The connecting screws that attach to the monitor and PC are a bit smaller than I…

It's a rare case that cheap doesn't necessarily mean inferior quality.

Has worked very well so far, since the purchase in 2018 there have been no problems with the image quality. I think those are the rare occasions when a lower price doesn't affect what it should do. Do this while ensuring image clarity and quality. I visited the blog site to learn more about PC building. With his help I was able to do that and when he asked me about the picture quality he informed me that there was no difference between DVI and HDMI. True or not, I can say that this DVI is much…

and as durable as any good cable

As others have pointed out, this is a DVI-D (dual link) cable that supports higher resolutions than the standard DVI single link cable . These cables are well made and as durable as any good cable. The shielding is of high quality, the plugs are tight and don't protrude any more than necessary. The cable also twists, bends, and twists easily, which is often overlooked since most heavily shielded cables are too stiff to manipulate. Cables that have more money in their box than their product (see

This cable provides the basics - but what else do you need?

This RevainBasics DVI-DVI cable is an ideal replacement for the DVI cable that came with your monitor but was too short, or to add another monitor if you lost your original DVI cable. Keep in mind that this is a DVI-D cable, not DVI-I, so it can only carry a digital signal. I've used it on both a Windows PC and a Macbook (I connected it to a Thunderbolt port via a DVI-D Thunderport adapter) and it worked flawlessly on both! I've been using this cable for about 6 months now and have absolutely…

Advertisement error

. So there is a small plastic protrusion on each connector. It says "Basics of Revain" to advertise that the cable is actually Revain. I'm going to hook it up to my monitor and think about it for a bit. He doesn't fit. The little plastic tip is just stupid. A) Advertising on the wire does not work, no one will see it. B) When people see it, the fork is pointing the wrong way. The plastic tab needs to face the back of my monitor so someone can't see it, even if someone is standing against the…
