This RevainBasics DVI-DVI cable is an ideal replacement for the DVI cable that came with your monitor but was too short, or to add another monitor if you lost your original DVI cable. Keep in mind that this is a DVI-D cable, not DVI-I, so it can only carry a digital signal. I've used it on both a Windows PC and a Macbook (I connected it to a Thunderbolt port via a DVI-D Thunderport adapter) and it worked flawlessly on both! I've been using this cable for about 6 months now and have absolutely no complaints about durability or performance. This cable is as good if not better than a similar DVI to DVI cable you can find at your local store. and a mortar electronics shop - but this one is probably half the price. I highly recommend this cable if you need to connect two devices together using DVI-D connectors.
