. So there is a small plastic protrusion on each connector. It says "Basics of Revain" to advertise that the cable is actually Revain. I'm going to hook it up to my monitor and think about it for a bit. He doesn't fit. The little plastic tip is just stupid. A) Advertising on the wire does not work, no one will see it. B) When people see it, the fork is pointing the wrong way. The plastic tab needs to face the back of my monitor so someone can't see it, even if someone is standing against the wall at my desk. C) A plastic tab is pressed against the back of my monitor, preventing it from being plugged in. correct due to the rejection of a universal design without advertising. It doesn't connect directly at all and therefore doesn't stay. They could have just engraved the name on the plastic, but instead they added a bulge for advertising. A piece that in turn advertises that the wire would not work on some monitors. I ended up replacing the wire with another that wouldn't have the same conflicts and used it there instead. However, due to the inability to work everywhere through this small advertising sphere, I cannot recommend it to anyone. If you buy the right type of wire it should just work.
