update below: died after 11 months. The keyboard doesn't fit well. Condensation and electronics got in, so we were woken up very quickly at 2am to cotton pffftt and the smell of burning electronics. Should have lasted longer. I will not buy again. Likes: absorbs a lot of water, easy to clean. Most of the internal parts are silicone so they go in and out easily and because they are very flexible you can remove dirt. It needs to be cleaned frequently. The humidity control seems to work well and the fan helps disperse the vapor. It's hard to find one these days that uses heat instead of ultrasound. I find the vapor quality to be very good and it feels good in the room when it's mostly one degree outside. Cons: We use this in our bedroom. There are plenty of lights on the controls and one on the side that stays on all night and flashes when it needs cleaning or the water level is low. It's like sleeping with a Christmas tree in the room. It would be much better if the lights went out after a while. It freezes a lot, but I can forgive that given the amount of water it holds. Overall this is a good product but bright.
