I have a 1990 Chevy K2500 pickup with a 350 engine and it suits me perfectly. I'm in the high desert with very hot days. and even hotter asphalt. So my engine seemed to be hotter than I wanted so I went down to a 180 degree thermostat stant 13008 stant 13008 - 180 degrees Fahrenheit and it's working much more normally now. You can get both items for about $5. I don't normally change the thermostat as often as I should, but since I installed new radiator hoses and changed the coolant, it wasn't difficult.
