I bought this for my 2019 F-150 because I need to plug my phone in for CarPlay to work and I wanted a more elegant way to use it. I found this on a forum and decided to give it a try. There are cheaper solutions but this works as advertised. Other products have less positive reviews but I can't say for sure how good they are. This product takes about 15 seconds to sync after starting the car and seems to be stable. I had a case where it wouldn't sync, but I unplugged it from the USB and plugged it back in and it synced. I feel like it's worth the small extra cost, so just go with it and don't mess around.
