I bought these gloves, like many others, because of the sheer volume of 5 star reviews. When I received them they seemed a bit small/light for a 16oz glove. Haven't weighed them yet to confirm, I can only speak for the quality of these gloves. They are very well built. The seams and all seams are tight, the skin smells good. So far they have held up very well. I had no pain in my arm or wrist while using them. Definitely worth $60. Update: I downgraded these gloves to 3 stars. After regular use, I found that the padding on the gloves is actually quite thin, which caused my joint pain. I recently switched to a pair of IMF Tech Ringside gloves and the difference in padding is day and night. After changing my gloves, my hand no longer hurts. As a side note I have looked at many of these 5 star reviews and found that there are MANY 5 star reviewers, this is their only review. Maybe it's the conspiracy theorist in me, but that strikes me as terribly suspicious.
