Easy assembly, identical to the previous device. A couple of notes though. There was considerable resistance to rotation, first noticed when I rotated the rotor shaft and still noticeable when I installed the fan blade. You could tell he was tense, maybe a little more. My unit had a bulged run/run capacitor, but to clear up the source of the confusion, the item's description says there is a capacitor in the kit, which is not the case. My box didn't have one, and my 4-ton Bryant's specs called for a different lid anyway. After installation, new motor and cover, compressor switched on, contactor pulled, but motor does not turn. I checked and repeated everything again, still nothing. I reached out with a screwdriver blade and spun the fan to push it and it's been roaring and cooling the house perfectly ever since.
