These pots are just what I was looking for. During holidays or gatherings, I usually earn more food than I need. Since there are only two of us living in the house, I am happy to send most of the leftovers home with the guests. I used my glass containers to ship home. However, it was difficult to ensure that I sent them back. I don't like using plastic containers. This is a great alternative. They can even be placed in the oven to reheat or bake. My favorite thing to cook is baked macaroni and cheese. I do everything except bake. I place cooked macaroni and cheese in these containers and inform my son that he can bake at 300° for 30 minutes (plus some grill to get toasted cheese). How fresh! Much better than trying to reheat food. **Edit** removing a star from you. Lids do not support stacking. I put one on top of the other and it immediately crushed the lid.
