Review on ✂️ Cut and Snip with Ease: OXO Good Grips Multi-Purpose Kitchen and Herbs Scissors by Kazuki Vong

Bought in 2015 and reviewed over 6 years later so this is a long term review :) Sharp ergonomic handles and comfortable to use in use. However, I am currently looking for a replacement for a pair of kitchen scissors with a fixed hinge. Sliding design may look attractive, but the design is not reliable enough. Over time the loop will loosen causing the two blades to no longer press firmly together, cutting action will be lost making cutting thin/slippery and/or slimy materials (thin plastic wrap, chicken tissue, etc.) very difficult. I tried bending the blades a bit to compensate for the loose hinge but that didn't help much and didn't last long. Spreading the scissor blades and then washing them in the dishwasher only makes matters worse. I never put scissors/knives in the dishwasher, but for some reason someone in the house keeps doing it :( These are good scissors anyway, as long as you don't spread the blades all the time to clean them (don't really wash that hard scissors without separator blades) and do not clean them in the dishwasher.
