Review on SHIMANO PRO Bicycle Chainstay Protector - Ultimate Black/Carbon Shield - PRAC0001 by Douglas Hall

I installed this on my 54cm Seven and found it ok but doesn't seem particularly secure due to its bulkiness. There was no way I could fit this on the drive side as it interferes with my cranks which seems counterproductive for the chainstay guard. The material is VERY thick and hard, if you have any contours or other shapes it will not work. The velcro seems secure but not particularly attractive or useful. It was really difficult to wrap it somehow so there are still rips and creases in the fabric. I'm keeping it on the non-drive side but wouldn't get another and probably won't stop picking it up if/when it falls.
