I really wish they would work. As I see it, you're trying to solve two problems; a slight flicker and the light goes off and on again when the engine is running. Tried 2 different pairs. Neither of them worked. Both times, a connector failed to insert properly into the truck's side wiring harness (I couldn't even get the lock to click with zip ties). When changing sides (both pairs) the problem followed the connector. I don't like sending things back, but if they don't work, they don't work. UPDATE: Bought a THIRD pair from another source and fixed the issue
