All-purpose kitchen knife

I've been using this type of knife for a long time. This is the highest quality knife I have ever bought. It keeps what it promises, a perfect cut. I use these knives for everything, meat, vegetables, fruit. I sharpen my old knives every now and then, that's okay. This blade is thinner and better than the one I have. I noticed right away that it cuts smoothly, food doesn't stick to the surface. It is beautifully packaged and would make a great gift. As I said, if sharpening is required at some point in the future, it can easily be done. I don't expect even the most expensive knives to stay sharp indefinitely.
