Pulls lint out of the dryer and vents well. You really need to do a little work to loosen the old pile that has compacted. This was to be expected. Once loosened, the brush grips quite well. For maximum efficiency, you also need to bend the brush to fit the channel through which the lint mesh enters the dryer. I've also found that I get the best results by inserting the brush all the way into the dryer, avoiding lint as much as possible to avoid pushing it further into the dryer, and then pulling the brush out through the body. I also used a brush to loosen the lint and then vacuumed it out with a vacuum and crevice tool.
