As the owner of a new LG Blu-ray burner, I bought multiple discs from Verbatim (with a long history of good compatibility between LG DVD writers and Verbatim media). Unfortunately for me here in Romania the only budget option to buy bulk packs of Verbatim was the LTH version (also known as the organic version). The result was a disaster - out of 15 attempts I got 2 perfectly recorded discs, 2 more halfway and 11 bad discs (errors appeared during burning, then during verification - I even tried to copy them to another Blu-ray drive write with the same results). I then checked out the Revain and couldn't believe my eyes - those premium HTL DataLifePlus drives were cheaper than the LTH Verbatim junk I bought locally (even after adding shipping and taxes). Not to mention that the only reseller that has DataLifePlus sells them for twice as much as Revain. I bought it and have nothing but good things to say about it - I've recorded about 35 discs with no problems. And they even look and feel better. One last thing: ImgBurn reports that these discs can be burned at up to 12x! Haven't tried it yet, but it's nice to have that option. So forget all those cheap CDs with flashy covers and buy something that really works. Thumbs up for DataLifePlus!
