Review on 5-Pack of 5×8 Double Sided Heavyweight Charcoal Drawing Sheets by Tara Ford

Very smooth heavyweight paper

I really like smooth paper. I would say kraft paper starch. Not for watercolor, it warps and deforms. I think it would be amazing for a pen and marker. I used gouache and metallic watercolor. Gouache looks great, doesn't warp very much. I added white to each color to make them stand out better on the paper. Very smooth and durable for paper. Not as thick as cardboard but much thicker than carbon paper. It will probably work fine on the Silhouette cutting machine if you want something thinner. The pages are perforated and come out clean. I tugged to see if it would fall out and am happy to report that it didn't. The cases are VERY durable. It would be great to take to the park or give to kids for summer outings. Black paper makes glossy gel pens or metal markers look so amazing. Enrich your brain with art and give up cell phones (electronics) for just a few minutes a day. It's an amazing natural world, document it with your own art.

Pros
  • Humanized tear-off and spiral binding
Cons
  • So far so good
