They do the job I need them for but if you are serious about PDR these bars are unacceptable. Slide the sheet out to get a better metal finish before using mud or glaze. They're great for that. The finish is poorly done so I go over the sandpaper to remove the burrs. But then again, I don't use them for paintless dent repair, I use them as dent removal pry bars so I use less dirt and don't have to lug the hook to the welder, and they're perfect for that. A good set costs between $200 and $500 and comes with all kinds of plastic and hardened rubber tips. Unfortunately, quality hardware tools in the tool world don't come cheap and you get what you pay for, but if you're just trying to pick up some tin I recommend them, there's no point buying a $300 set if Just use them as fancy mounts. I am generally satisfied with my purchase, it meets the needs I wanted it for.
