You can easily convert it to non-blocking.
Wanted 4S12 without blocking but apparently it's out of production. I used to have one that got lost and it was great. Ordered this version of the 4S12L lock and hated the lock's "feature" which was so unnecessary and made it difficult to use in certain hard to reach areas of the engine. Luckily, you can just undo the screw and pull out the lock, push the button and assemble, leaving the spring and bracket in place. And it won't lock anymore, but it will still hold a detented head position and won't be flexible. Happy again. great keys.
