This mobo is really mixed. I wouldn't recommend it over cheaper alternatives, but let's see why: Pros: The board is heavy and feels premium. The aesthetic is neutral. Lots of neat connections on the board (high amp water pump + extra appreciated) -Built-in water cooling keeps the board relatively cool. The Bad: - Asus has decided to put a chipset fan on this board which they are announcing to the water cooling community - The Asus Aura Sync software is rubbish, it messes up and needs to be reinstalled almost weekly. Color profiles are not loaded until you log into Windows, if they load at all. Asus does not provide Liveash for configuring the onboard OLED in its utilities for this board. You can install older Livedash software and it will work. - There are strange bugs: My computer won't sleep when LAN cables are connected to it. The new drivers do not fix this and the Wake-on-LAN settings are disabled. — Problems with the BIOS: Won a ne post with overclocking my 3900X. There are often weird issues that require a CMOS reset. It's unreasonably and ridiculously expensive. The bottom line is that this board seems to have had a lot of afterthoughts and feels like it was thrown out the door. At $700, I expect everything that comes in the box to work properly (including software, BIOS, drivers, etc.). However, that is not the case here, you are paying a premium for an ineffective product. I would look elsewhere if I could do it again.
