TL;DR: Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F2.8 PRO lens - SIGNIFICANTLY better lens than the M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F4 0.0-5.6 and you should seriously consider investing in this lens if you are an Olympus photographer looking for sharp, crisp images. My experience: I switched from Sony to Olympus in 2014 and have been using Olympus products exclusively for the past six years. years now. I specialize in sports and travel/landscape photography after working in soccer for seven years in the United States. I currently work as the Marketing Director for a professional soccer team in the United States and have visited 19 different countries and communities including Brazil, Turkey, Japan and many countries in continental Europe. Full review: As a brand, Olympus prides itself on having the 'most portable camera'. Having used Olympus products for many years now, I stand by the company's claim of offering an incredibly light and compact camera body and lens with no noticeable loss of image sharpness/clarity. I use my OM-D E-M5 Mark II almost every day of the year to take photos or videos for a professional soccer team. For high-speed photography close to the pitch, I used my M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F4.0-5.6 lens, and while it performed well for its price ($99), I always wanted the image improve and sharpen. . The PRO lens (35mm equivalent of 80-300mm) is lightweight compared to any DSLR lens of similar performance and has incredible image stabilization that helps me capture action scenes. As an F2.8 lens, the PRO lens also offers excellent depth of field, especially when compared to my F4.0-5.6 lens. The price may be high, but if you want the best product (image/video) from your Olympus camera, the PRO lens is worth the investment.
