They save lives and money. We bought these so we wouldn't just have random paper or cardboard with paint floating around. The containers are perfect, they keep the paint neat and organized when you paint, they are a dream to clean (more on that later). great for mixing colors in small batches, you can keep the color central instead of worrying about how much color will actually smear while creating a different shade. The number of palettes you get is great as you can have multiple painting sessions without deleting them. If you want to go a little broke you can throw them in the dishwasher (we just put them on the top shelf) and they'll hold their shape and fold back perfectly. Excellent product, highly recommended.
